E-File Core Skills Certification

Take control of your craft with an E-file certification designed for the modern nail tech. At Rebelle Studios, our in-depth training covers all of the core E-file skills needed to give you the confidence to work safely, efficiently, and professionally. You’ll master prep, product removal, debulking, and rebalancing with precision, all while protecting the natural nail. This isn’t just another add-on skill, it’s a game-changer that saves time, elevates your services, and sets you apart in the industry. 

Entry criteria:

• No prior E-file experience required.

• Must hold at minimum a gel polish certification

 

What you will learn:

​This is an in-depth and hands on E-file fundamentals course that includes:​​

• Understanding your E-file & what it can do

• Choosing the right E-file 

• Caring for your E-file

• Hygiene, health & safety 

• Nail anatomy refresher 

• E-file Handling techniques 

• Understanding bits & grits

• Types of bits

• Choosing the correct speed

• E-file nail prep 

• Product removal with E-file

• Reducing length with E-file 

• Rebalancing / backfill prep with E-file

• Removing lifting with E-file 

• Finish filing with E-file

• Troubleshooting

​What is included:

• 1 day (6hrs) of in-depth, in person, hands-on training with a max of two students per class.

• Erica's ATA E-file essentials kit supplied by Beauty Bestie​

• Comprehensive, professionally printed, full-colour & bound Rebelle Studios E-file Training Manual.

• Ongoing support throughout your learning journey.

• Rebelle Studios E-file Certification

​Models required: 

• No - you will practice on training hands, yourself, and each other if there are two students in the class. ​

​

Your E-file kit contents:

• Safety Smooth Top Tapered Carbide Bit (med)

• Gel X Carbide Bit 

• Micro Taper Diamond Bit (med) 

• Droplet Diamond Bit 

• Small Mandrel & 240 grit sanding bands 

 

What you'll need: ​

• E-file 

• Cuticle pusher

• Cuticle nippers

• Manicure dust brush 

• Must have product on both hands with 2-3 weeks growth. You will need to have a thicker or structured base, ie: builder gel or rubber base with gel polish on top. 

 

Course Investment: 

• $669 NZD - including a professional kit valued at over $200

To secure your place in any course, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 7 working days prior to your scheduled course date.

​

All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, as they cover your kit, course materials, and reserved training space.

Cancellations or rescheduling within 7 working days of your course will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If a cancellation or reschedule occurs within 48 hours of your course date, the entire course cost will be forfeited in full, as this leaves insufficient time to fill your place.
