Entry criteria:

• No prior experience required.

• Perfect for complete beginners or self-taught nail techs wanting to gain a qualification.

• Students to come with bare nails for demo

 

What you will learn:

​This is an in-depth and hands on course that includes:​

• Salon hygiene, health and safety protocols

• Understanding SDS sheets

• Understanding the curing process

• Understanding the common chemicals in UV Gel Polishes

• PPE in the salon

• Salon ergonomics

• Understanding allergies & prevention

• Client consultations, consent and aftercare advice

• Nail anatomy, contra-indications & contra-actions

• Product knowledge and safe handling

• Natural nail prep for long lasting application

• Gel polish application

• Gel polish removal

• Gel colour troubleshooting

• Hands on practice on models

• Checklist for starting a NZ Nail Business

​What is included:

• 3 days of in-depth, in person, one on one, hands-on training (3 × 6-hour sessions).

• TWENTY™ Gel Polish Starter Kit including salon essentials supplied by Beauty Bestie.​

• Comprehensive, professionally printed, full-colour & bound TWENTY™ Gel Polish Training Manual.

• Ongoing support throughout your learning journey.

• Gel Polish Certification awarded upon passing of theory & practical exam.

​Models required: 

• 3 x models will be required 

• Day 1: Theory - no models 

• Day 2: Model 1 at 1.00pm 

• Day 2: Model 2 at 10.20am & Model 3 at 1.00pm

​

Exam & Certification:

• On day 3 - Students will complete both theory and practical assessments to demonstrate competency.

• Students who demonstrate competency will be awarded a TWENTY™ accredited Gel Polish Certification.

• Certification is not automatically granted upon course completion - it is awarded only when a student has confidently demonstrated all required skills and knowledge to a professional standard.

• At Rebelle Studios, we believe in maintaining the integrity of our education and industry standards. Every certificate represents genuine skill, understanding, and readiness to work safely and professionally within the nail industry.

Exam resit & support:

• Students who require additional practice to demonstrate competency will be offered one complimentary exam resit. Any additional resits will be priced at our 1:1 mentoring rate. We strongly recommend taking the time to review your training materials and gain further practice before booking your resit to ensure you feel fully prepared.

• For those who would like extra support, we also offer a discounted 1:1 mentoring session. This option provides guided, hands-on practice with your educator to help build your confidence and refine your skills ahead of your resit.

Course Investment: 

• $1,919 NZD - includes a professional kit valued at over $500

To secure your place in any course, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 7 working days prior to your scheduled course date.

​

All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, as they cover your kit, course materials, and reserved training space.

Cancellations or rescheduling within 7 working days of your course will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If a cancellation or reschedule occurs within 48 hours of your course date, the entire course cost will be forfeited in full, as this leaves insufficient time to fill your place.
